We hope you all are doing great and are excited for the NDA exam 2022.NDA is a nation-level exam that grants way to the Indian Armed forces and takes place in three stages- written exam, SSB Indian Army interview, and medical test. It's a long journey from preparation to the final round.
Every candidate has tons of questions regarding the NDA exam, uniform, NDA's cadets routine, fee, holidays, etc. It's difficult to search for each question to clear your doubts. To solve this problem, we have come up with a unique solution. Today we will answer all the frequently asked questions on NDA 2022 exam.

A1- Eligibility criteria for NDA 2022 exam is as follow-
Anyone holding citizenship of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or refuge from Tibet came to India before 01 January 1962 to permanently settle in India.
A person belonging to India but has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, and East African Countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam for settling permanently in India.
Both males and females are applicable to apply for NDA 2022 exam.

A2- No, it will take place in offline mode.
A3- Candidates belonging to the General and OBC category have to pay INR 100 as an application. Those belonging to SC/the ST category are exempted from fee payment.
A4-The cut depends on many factors like the highest score and the number of students who appeared for the exam. The last three years' cut-off ranges between 320-350 marks.
A5-NDA cadets do not get any salary/ stipend during the training session. However, they get INR 56,100/ per month during their training at IMA.
A6- Use of calculators, mobile phones, or any electronic device is strictly prohibited.
A7-NDA exam will take place twice a year in April and August. The exam conducted in April is called NDA-1, and the exam conducted in august or September is called NDA-2.
A8- As NDA takes place twice a year. NDA-1, 2022 will take place on 10 April 2022, and NDA-2 on 4 September 2022.
A9-General Knowledge is a vast subject. There are thousands of topics to frame questions. In NDA, General knowledge will cover subjects: Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social Studies, Geography, and current events.
A10- There are two parts to NDA 2022 written exam - Mathematics and GAT (General Ability Test).
Mathematics paper carries 300 marks from 120 questions. Every correct answer will give you 2.5 marks, and the wrong answer will be minus 0.83.
General Ability Test further has two papers- A and B.
Paper A includes English carrying 200. Paper B includes geography( 80 marks),history(80marks), current affairs(40marks) , General science(40marks),chemistry (60marks)and physics(100marks). Every correct answer will give you +4 and wrong -1.33.
The total stands for 900 marks (300 for mathematics and 600 for GAT). There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
A11- To be on the safer side, the candidate must score a minimum of around 25% marks in each subject to clear the NDA Written Examination. After qualifying for the written exam, candidates will appear for an SSB interview.
A12- There is no quota or reservation in NDA. Only deserving candidates, qualifying the written examination, SSB interview, and a medical test, become part of the Indian Armed Forces.
A13- The registration for NDA-1, 2022 begins on 22 December 2021 and the last day to apply for it was 11 January 2022.
For NDA-2, the registration will begin on 18 May 2022, and the last day to apply for NDA2, 2022 exam is 14 June 2022.
A14- No, you can only apply for the NDA 2022 exam through online mode.
A15- Yes, you appear for both NDA-1 and NDA -2 exams if you fulfill the eligibility criteria.
A 16- The tips are as follows-
Know the syllabus and exam pattern.
Allot time to every subject.
Complete your syllabus one month before the exam and dedicate that one month for revision.
Solve previous year's question papers.
Take mock tests and analyze your performance.
