A candidate other than the citizen of India needs to submit a certificate issued by the Indian government.
Candidates who are Gorkha citizens of Nepal need no such certificate.
For the Army wing of the National Defense Academy, the appearing candidate must complete 12th from a recognized board.
Candidates appearing for the final exam (12th board) are also eligible to apply for NDA 2022 exam.

Wax (Ears)
Deviated Nasal Septum.
Overweight/Underweight.
Under Sized Chest.
Piles.
Tonsillitis.
Gynaecomastia.
Varicocele.
Hydrocele/Phimosis.
Only on the inner face of the forearm, permanent body tattoos are acceptable.
Inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand/Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable.
Tattoos present on the face or body of tribes due to their customs and traditions are permissible on a case-by-case basis.
The minimum height required for Gorkhas and candidates’ belonging to the Hills of North Eastern region of India, Garhwal, and Kumaon is 148 cm.
For the Flying branch, the minimum height required is 163 cm.
Candidates below 18 years at the time of examination are allowed an allowance of 02 cm of growth.
